Ooo its been a while...

Its seems to have been a while since I last posted which actually coincides with the kids being on holiday from school. I've had my hands full with 4 children.

Over the holidays I've developed a new wool wash bar which is due to go out for testing in about 10 days time. I'm very excited about it. It's made fromm all natural ingredients and fragranced with esential oils and natural perfume oils.
We will eventually be reintroducing our full range of So Scrumptious that used to be made by the lovely Emma at Treehuggaz. It's just a case of making it and getting it saftey assessed and sending out for testing.

A family day minus 1

I recently celebrated my bithday. Kids and I had a lovely birthday tea. It was nice to have them all round the table in one go!! Archie helped me bake the cake and he decorated it lol!! Mia was poorly and din't eat a thing despite having the same piece of pasta on her fork the entire time.

And of course he needed to blow the candles out!! Its such a shame that the hubby was working :(

This & That

Well i tried intarsia on the baby berry hat and it was a complete disaster so fairisle is definately the way to go with these hats.

Archie & Mia bought me some flowers for Mothers Day. I absolutely LOVE the colours in them so this evening I am going to dye some wool to make Mia a shrug.

Progress pics
Not entirely sure how i feel about it, i think i would change the way i use those colours on the skein. Can't wait to see it dried though.

Skirt is finished..what a learning curve!

This has been a real learning curve for me. My Great Grandma taught me to knit when I was 8 ish. I stopped knitting when I discovered crochet. I first picked up my knitting needles again when I was expecting Mia, so just over 2 years ago. Through that time I have (with the help of some wonderful people) re-learned how to follow patterns and some techniques and even learned some new ones. I am very proud of this skirt. It has helped me rediscover my love of knitting - so thankyou Carolyn ;D
